The Fake (Tribute Originals)
What happens when two songwriters get together in a studio, pick a band or performer from the 1950's through the 1980's, write an original song in the style of said band or performer, and then record the song in the appropriate style of the era and the song? The Fake!
The Fake is a fun studio project by Brad Newell and Craig Pearman with the assistance of a few musical friends from time to time.
Past tributes include Elvis, The Beatles, The Zombies, Roy Orbison, Led Zeppelin and The Cars. Some of these song tributes even have videos by Ronald Tucker, which you can check out at The Fake's Youtube page:

Besides a few clues, there's never a direct link that tells you what band we're doing a tribute to, so you make you own musical conclusions.
